I was born during the Ethiopian Orthodox Christmas holiday, so my parents named me Nigisti, which means “Queen,” as I have the same birth date as Jesus. 

My mother inspired me to learn about Ethiopian history, culture, and
biodiversity.   As I grew up in the northern part of Ethiopia, the residence of the rock-hewn churches and archeological sites of the ancient Kingdom of Axum, I worked hard to know the assets of Ethiopia as well as Africa, and I endeavored to share Ethiopia’s and Africa’s beauty and splendor with
others.

As a tour operator, I enjoy discussing Africa’s stunning landscapes.
astonishing flora and fauna one encounters in our national parks, the geology of the Great Rift Valley, and the Danakil Depression in Ethiopia, which is the lowest point in the world. With unique geology, rich biodiversity, and
anthropologically, the Land of Human Origins.
